Valerie J. Shinbaum, MS, LPC, MAC, NCC, has been a practicing psychotherapist since 1992 and has run a private practice since 2004. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addictions Counselor, and National Certified Counselor, Valerie brings extensive expertise to her work with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in addictions, trauma, self-esteem building, and navigating life's transitions. Valerie is also a published author, national conference speaker, and former radio talk show host.
