Dr. Tara Chalakani
Dr. Tara A. Chalakani is a senior healthcare executive and transformational leader with more than 30 years of experience across private and nonprofit behavioral health systems. She currently serves as CEO of Preferred Behavioral Health Group, where she leads a multi-site organization delivering integrated mental health, substance use, and community-based services across New Jersey.
Known for her trauma-informed leadership approach, Dr. Chalakani is a Forbes Nonprofit Council contributor, national thought leader, and co-host of the Welloff Podcast.
